Staffed by citizen-volunteers, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Hasty team is ready 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. As the only public safety dive team in Northern Nevada, the WCSO Hasty Team is always staying sharp on rescue disciplines. Recently, members of the team conducted monthly training at Sparks Marina. Hasty’s dive unit has a diverse range of capabilities, including Surface Supplied Air and Remotely Operated Vehicles which can dive to depths over 2,000 feet deep. With weekly training across all disciplines, the WCSO Hasty team can respond to any search and rescue call in Washoe County.
