Man Who Attacked Judge in Las Vegas Sentenced to 25-65 Years in Prison Deobra Redden was sentenced to 26-65 years in prison today for jumping the bench and attacking Judge Mary Kay Holthus in a Las Vegas courtroom earlier this year in January. Redden pleaded guilty to the charges and asked for leniency. He stated he had issues with mental illness since 2012 and that he’s felt unsafe since he was a child. He states in court, “I’m not an evil person. I did not intend to kill” in regards to attacking the judge who was also the one to sentence him. #lasvegas #nevada
