It’s ticket season in Sparks. 🎟️ Per SPD: “On January 24th, Sparks Police participated in Joining Forces, a grant provided by the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, focusing on speed enforcement. We partnered with the Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Washoe County School District Police, and University Police Department - Northern Command to work throughout the valley. During the event, law enforcement officers issued approximately 170 citations and 22 warnings for violations such as speeding, reckless driving, no vehicle registration, and no vehicle insurance. Sparks Police would like to remind everyone to slow down, stay off your phone, and wear your seat belt.” #sparks #nevada
