Major Gang Arrests in Reno: Fentanyl, Trafficking, and Gun Seizures

The Regional Gang Unit, in collaboration with the Northern Nevada Safe Streets Task Force, arrested members of a California street gang on January 29 at a local hotel where they were operating out of. As a result of the operation police seized some $25,000 worth of fentanyl and heroin, a gun and rescued a woman being trafficked.
The subjects arrested were reportedly members of the North Side Gangster Crips, a violent street gang originating from Stockton, California.
Agencies involved also included the Regional Narcotics Unit (RNU), the Human Exploitation and Trafficking unit (HEAT), and Reno PD’s SWAT.
Arrested were:
* 31-year-old Jerome Tumblin
* 33-year-old Robert Nakooka
* 36-year-old Darron Grays
It is unclear if the perpetrators are from Nevada or Stockton, California.
The next day The Regional Gang Unit also arrested more than 50 Blood gang members in an investigation that began in 2022. According to Reno PD, 30 guns, several pounds of drugs, and more than $10,000 were seized. #reno #nevada #stockton #california
