Ticket Season is in Effect 🏎️🏍️🏍️ Per WCSO: “The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is proudly participating in the Joining Forces campaign, a statewide multi-agency initiative dedicated to combating speeding and enhancing public safety in our community. Running from January 16th to January 31st, this collaborative effort brought together law enforcement agencies from across the region, including the motors units from Reno Police Department and the University Police Department. Together on a multi day event, our combined efforts resulted in an impressive 170 citations and 22 warnings, with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Motors Unit contributing an outstanding 50 citations and 8 warnings. This campaign not only demonstrates our commitment to keeping our roads safe but also highlights the strength of community collaboration.
