Keefe D Attacked in Jail, Charged With Battery via @thesocaltimes *Viewer discretion is advised. Confessed assassin of Tupac Shakur, Duane Keith Davis aka Keefe D, has picked up a new charge after fighting another inmate in Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. Surveillance photos provided by Clark County Sheriff show Davis in a stand off with another inmate who has his hands raised while a correctional officer is walking by. Another photo shows both men on the ground with Davis, age 61, behind the unnamed man, age 53, while using a headlock. Both inmates were pepper sprayed to be separated. It has not been disclosed what led to the altercation that has been described as “mutual combat.” Davis was arrested in September 2023 for the murder of the famed rapper in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. After being shot several times in a drive by at the intersection of Flamingo and Koval following a Mike Tyson fight, Shakur succumbed to his wounds a week later on September 13 with his mother, Ademo, deciding to pull the plug after multiple resuscitations due to complications. Davis had confessed to the crime under a proffer agreement to a task force in 2003, that was investigating the murder of Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls. The lead detective, Greg Kading, would go on to publish a book and documentary about the investigation outing Keefe D as one of the four individuals in the car that committed the shooting. Apparently seeking fame and money, Keefe D would then go on to do several interviews corroborating the confession mistakenly thinking he had prosecutorial immunity. He did not. It still took until 2023 before police cared enough to actually make an arrest. Keefe D was a well known shot caller of the South Side Crips in Compton at the time. His gang was affiliated with and provided security for Sean Puffy Combs aka P Diddy whom Davis said in his taped confessed offered $1 million for the hit on Tupac and Suge Knight, whom himself is also in prison now. P Diddy was arrested last year with 1,000 bottles of baby oil and 784 dildos on multiple charges unrelated to the hit of Tupac. #lasvegas #compton #nevada #california
