Armed Sparks Man Arrested After Standoff Per Sparks PD: “On March 5th, 2024, at approximately 1704 hours, Sparks Police Officers responded to the 5200 Block of Santa Anita Dr. for multiple reports of an adult male shooting a rifle in his front yard. Officers established a perimeter, utilized an armored vehicle as well as a UAV to collect intelligence. After a short standoff Officers eventually made contact with the male, identified as 53-year-old Sparks resident, Jason HARRALL. HARRALL was in possession of a handgun at the time Officers made contact with him and refused to obey commands initially. HARRALL eventually surrendered and was taken into custody. The ensuing investigation yielded 2 fired rifle cartridge cases in the front yard, corroborating the witness information. HARRALL was arrested and booked for 2 counts of Discharging a Firearm, Endangering Others and 1 count of Obstructing with a Firearm.” #sparks #nevada
