Non-profit looking to build homes in Sparks for disabled veterans The American Hope Foundation is dedicated to supporting disabled veterans by providing them with housing, food, job training, and education. In an effort to get veterans off the streets, the foundation is planning to build 25 to 30 houses in Sparks, at the corner of North McCarran Blvd. and Wedekind Rd. The goal is to have these homes completed within 18 months and create a supportive community for veterans in need. This project is just the beginning for the foundation, as they aim to help as many disabled veterans as possible.
