Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Suspect for Battery with a Deadly Weapon
Per WCSO:
On March 14, 2025, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence in Sun Valley following a report of a battery. Upon arrival, deputies contacted an individual who reported being the victim of the incident. The individual had visible injuries consistent with their account.
Through further investigation, Stuart Boesch was identified as the primary suspect. Based on the evidence collected at the scene and follow-up interviews conducted by detectives, probable cause was established to arrest Boesch for Battery with a Deadly Weapon Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm (NRS 200.481.2e(2)). An arrest warrant was subsequently issued.
On April 2, 2025, deputies were dispatched to Hobey’s Casino in Sun Valley regarding an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Boesch, who was determined to be the individual not permitted on the property. Boesch was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on the outstanding warrant.
