👏Sign up for the CERT Basic Training Academy The Carson City Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is accepting applications for a free basic training academy in mid-May 2025 and again later in Sept. Contact CERT at [email protected] and indicate that you are interested in receiving an application for the Basic Training Academy in May. Deadline is Tuesday, April 22, to be considered for a seat in the May academy; seating is limited. The academy is approximately 26 hours of classroom instruction delivered over six sessions in two weeks (May 8-10 and again May 15-17, Thursday-Friday evenings, and Saturday all day).
