🚔 Quick Response Leads to Burglary Arrests in Sun Valley 🚔 Per WCSO: “In the early afternoon of April 14, 2025, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence in Sun Valley. As deputies arrived, they spotted two individuals, later identified as Sarah Hansen and Cury Jerauld, walking away from the scene. A witness provided detailed descriptions that matched the subjects, and deputies conducted a subject stop. Following interviews and investigation, Sarah Hansen was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility for burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cury Jerauld was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility for possession of a controlled substance, along with a felony FTA warrant out of Second Judicial Court and a warrant out of Sparks Justice Court. This outcome highlights our deputies’ outstanding teamwork and rapid response in keeping our communities safe. Good job team!
