Wanna plant some trees? 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳 You’re invited to multiple Arbor Day celebrations happening this week! The first celebration is happening on Friday, April 25, at 12:30p at Virginia Lake Park Playground between Mountainview Drive and Audubon Way. Hear from Reno’s Urban Forester, Matt Basile, and other community leaders on the importance of trees and our urban canopy. Urban Forestry Awards will also be presented to those who help maintain and promote a healthy urban forest. Then on Saturday, April 26, help us and Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful beginning at 9a for two volunteer tree planting events happening at both Robinhood and Virginia Lake Parks.
