Officers from the Sparks Police Department conducted targeted traffic enforcement, focusing on speeding, reckless driving and unregistered vehicles. Our efforts were concentrated in areas including Vista Boulevard, Sparks Boulevard, and La Posada Drive. In this 24 hour operation, officers issued 114 citations and 51 warnings One notable stop involved a 15-year-old juvenile clocked at 82 mph in a posted 40 mph zone.
