The North Lake Tahoe Fire and Rescue has received a grant from FEMA for $80,000 to acquire five state-of-the-art Zoll AutoPulse NXT resuscitation systems These cutting-edge devices are portable, battery-powered, and provide automated CPR to individuals experiencing cardiac arrest. The implementation of these resuscitation systems has the potential to significantly increase survival rates, with studies showing up to a 50% improvement compared to manual CPR. One of the key features of the Zoll AutoPulse NXT is its ability to measure the chest size of the patient before administering uninterrupted chest compressions, ensuring more effective treatment.
