The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with an incident where two men posed as federal officers and handcuffed a man Aaron Frieson, 30, has been booked on charges including attempted kidnapping with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and impersonating a peace officer. Frieson’s bail has been set at $100,000. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when Frieson and another man approached a 20-year-old man, handcuffed him at gunpoint, and claimed to be federal officers. The roommate of the handcuffed man became suspicious, leading to a fight. The roommate sustained minor injuries, and the suspects fled the scene. Detectives were able to track Frieson to a residential inn on North Curry Street, where he was apprehended by the special weapons and tactics team on Friday afternoon.
