Murderer serving life sentence dies in Carson City prison A 76-year-old inmate, Andrew J. Jacobson, serving a life sentence for murder and kidnapping in Washoe County,has passed away at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. The Nevada Department of Corrections has confirmed his death. Jacobson had been sentenced to life in prison in 1992 and had previous charges of sexual assault for which he received up to 20 years in prison. The NDOC has requested an autopsy but has not provided any autopsy results at this time. #carsoncity #nevada #775
