Christopher Townsend, 35, was arrested by the Repeat Offender Program after leading Reno Police on a pursuit through downtown
The arrest came after a report of domestic assault with a deadly weapon, where Townsend threatened his girlfriend with physical violence using a knife.
Prior to the assault report, Townsend was spotted driving a stolen vehicle with stolen license plates. The pursuit was discontinued due to the danger it posed to the public, but Townsend was later apprehended at Diamonds Casino.
He is currently on probation for grand larceny and has warrants for his arrest for probation violations and identity theft.
Townsend now faces multiple charges, including domestic battery, felony eluding endangering the public, grand theft auto, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
