Reno Businessman Expands $30,000 Debate Challenge to 3 WCSD Trustees
As previously reported, Reno businessman, Robert Beadles, issued a $30,000 challenge to Washoe County School District board president Beth Smith to debate candidate Paul White. The offer was that is Smith would publicly debate White concerning the issues at WCSD and public education in Washoe County, Beadles would donate $30,000 to a charity of her choice. Smith never responded.
Beadles is now extending that offer to two additional trustees who are allied with Smith, Alex Wooley and Diane Nicolet who are also running for re-election.
On March 18th, I issued a $30,000 challenge to WCSD President Beth Smith, AKA Death Smith, to publicly debate the great Paul White.
“This time, instead of $30,000 going to the charity of Beth Smith’s choice, it would be split three ways between the three candidates for charities of their own choosing.
Who could say no to that?
What are they scared of?
Let the whole world and country see them defend their records, their actions, and one of the most failed and corrupt school systems in the country,” Beadles said in a public statement.
Paul White is running as a candidate for reform. On his website, electpaulwhite.com, he states, “Paul White, an educator with 38 years of successful experience in teaching, leading, and transforming broken schools into GREAT schools.”
“It will be great, I’ll pack the place, moderate it, have 8 media outlets cover it, set up a bar, and bring popcorn for everyone. It will be one heck of a show. What do you say, Beth, are you going to chicken out again?
Paul White vs. Beth Smith, Alex Woodley, and Diane Nicolet. $30,000 on the line. I’ll set everything up; all they have to do is show up. Let’s see what Beth says, or doesn’t…”, says Beadles.
For those living in Washoe County and or have children WCSD would you like to see that debate? 🤔 #reno #sparks #sunvalley #spanishsprings #washoecounty
