Did Washoe County School District President Beth Smith Conspire to Set Up Trustee Jeff Church? Church is going on record to state in a public declaration that Smith conspired with two female WCSD employees to do just that; accusing him of sexual harassment. In new Declaration obtained by 775 Times, Trustee Church is stating a “whistleblower” notified him of the plot. That whistleblower has now been identified as Luis Aguilar, Executive Assistant, Office of the Deputy Superintendent. This is the latest development in an ongoing investigation and legal battle between Beth Smith, her allied trustees, and Jeff Church who has been the subject of public pressure and apparent retaliation during board meetings and outside of them. Church has posted photos/video of him sitting in the board room overlooking paperwork at the time the alleged harassment was reported to have happened in the outside parking lot as claimed by the two unidentified WCSD employees.
