WCSO Deputies Arrest Suspect Following Burglary Investigation
Per Washoe County Sheriff:
“On the afternoon of May 22, 2024, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an address in the area of Mesa Park Road in response to a report of a residential burglary.
During the investigation, deputies learned that the homeowner had arrived home to find an unknown male inside their residence. The homeowner confronted the intruder, who then fled through the back door.
Deputies searched the area and identified a male subject matching the suspect’s description in a nearby neighborhood. The individual was identified as 32-year-old William Signer III. Based on information provided by the homeowner and the on-scene investigation, deputies confirmed that Signer was the suspect in this case.
Signer was subsequently placed into custody and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on charges of felony residential burglary (2nd offense) and misdemeanor possession of stolen property.”
