80th Anniversary of D Day
80 years ago today 156,000 Allied troops landed in Northern France as a coordinated effort to remove the Nazi regime occupying Europe. It has been referred to as the beginning of the end of World War II but it is mostly commonly called D-Day. More than 4,400 Allied troops gave their lives for liberty in this single assault. May their courage and sacrifice be forever honored all over the world.
