Washoe County School District Staff Arrested for Sexual Relationship With Student It’s not just the trustees that are corrupted at WCSD, apparently so are employees. Caitlyn Rock, 46 years old, a staffer with tasked with Drop Out Intervention at Billinghurst Middle School, was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old male student for over a year. WCSD released the following statement: “The Washoe County School District (WCSD) is appalled by these allegations and has not been privy to the details of the criminal investigation. This alleged behavior is reprehensible and not representative of our employees, schools, or district. Ms. Rock is not currently under contract with WCSD as the contracts for educational support professionals ends today.” “The district will follow due process proceedings moving forward.
