The City of Reno and Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County kicked off construction on the South Virginia Street and I-580 Exit 29 Capacity and Safety Project. According to city officials construction will take place at night. When the project is complete there will be: -A new northbound travel lane. -An additional turning lane and signal at the freeway off-ramp. -ADA compliant ramps for pedestrians. -New sidewalks, curb and gutter improvements. #reno #nevada
