The Nevada State Police is seeking information regarding a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at approximately 2:12 a.m. at the location of IR215 westbound to the IR15 northbound ramp in Las Vegas, Nevada. The vehicle that fled the scene is suspected to be a 2018 to 2020 red/burgundy Nissan Kicks. The vehicle may have right side damage to it and may have a broken right front headlight. The right front wheel well cover may be damaged as well. (see stock image of photo). The incident involved a blue Ford that was pulled over on the right shoulder of the ramp at the above location. An occupant of the Ford was outside of the vehicle attempting to put fuel into the vehicle. A passing vehicle (suspected red/burgundy Nissan Kicks) struck the occupant that was outside of the Ford. The individual struck sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The vehicle that struck the person did not stop at the scene of the crash.
