Police in Standoff With Shooter After Sparks Police Officer Shot An officer, possibly two, have been shot at Rock & Oddie Blvds today around 1:45 pm. Sparks PD has confirmed that the suspect is ‘contained’ as the SWAT team has arrived to deal with the situation. Multiple agencies are involved including Reno Police Department, Sparks Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, REMSA and the Consolidated Bomb Squad.
