Woman Dies on First Day of Burning Man Festival The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a woman was found deceased at the Burning Man Festival. The Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 11:37 a.m. on August 25th, opening day for the annual festival.
