Reno Firefighters Battle House Blaze Over Weekend “Reno Firefighters on scene late last night of a working structure fire on East 9th street 🔥 Engine 1 arrived on scene to a single story duplex with flames and heavy smoke showing. Multiple attack lines were stretched into the burning structure by Engines 1, 2 & 4 and the fire was quickly knocked down. The residence was deemed vacant after a thorough search by Ladder-1. Squad 1 Firefighters stretched an exterior line to extinguish fire that was spreading in vegetation outside of the structure and forced entry into the rear of the residence for a secondary means of egress for interior crews.
