Here are some tips to help you recreate responsibly: 🔥 BE FIRE-SAFE: A regional fire ban is in effect. No open flames, campfires, bonfires, charcoal barbeques or fireworks are allowed. Let’s keep our community safe from wildfires. 🚗 DON’T DRINK & DRIVE: Plan ahead, designate a sober driver, or use the ride-share service, TART Connect. Your safety and the safety of others depend on it. 🚦SLOW DOWN: Watch your speed, especially in residential areas and around Donner Lake. More visitors mean more traffic—let’s keep our roads safe for everyone. 🚴 PARK RESPONSIBLY: Do not park in bike lanes, on sidewalks, or in any spot that could obstruct emergency vehicles or hinder the flow of traffic. Be considerate of cyclists and pedestrians. 🙏 BE PATIENT: We’re expecting a busy weekend with lots of visitors and homeowners in town.
