Boil Water Advisory Issued for Sun Valley 💩 💦 On Tuesday the Sun Valley General Improvement District (SVGID) issued a boil water advisory after their water system malfunctioned that caused a loss of pressure in the water distribution system. Such a system failure can cause fecal matter or other disease-causing organism contamination to enter the water distribution system. SVGID had an 8” water main break on Barrel Springs Rd causing them isolate these streets: Barrel Springs Rd. Chimney Dr. Rams Horn Rd. Blackwood Rd. Round Top Rd. Lundy Rd. Dutch Flat Rd. 6200 Block of Leon Dr. 5900 Block of Middle Fork Dr. Union Mills Rd. Haas Ct. Amargosa Dr. Heritage Dr. Guildwood Dr. Lansing Dr. Bathurst Dr. Danforth Dr. SVGID will now have to flush all water mains affected and ensure water is safe to drink. Residents are advised to not drink the water without boiling it until further notice. #sunvalley #nevada
