Police Arrest Murder Suspect in Sparks Police arrested a suspect, Yun Kim, in a deadly shooting on E. Street in Sparks on Wednesday September 18th. According to authorities the suspect got into an argument with two workers who were working on the renovation of an empty apartment at E. and 19th Streets. Kim then allegedly came back with a gun and shot the victim who died after being transported to the hospital. The second worker managed to fight off and subdue Kim until police arrived and arrested him while also taking him to the hospital. Sparks PD encourages anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have additional information to call Sparks Police Detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900. It is unknown what the argument started over. #sparks
