Reno Aces Honor Davis Fire Fighters “The Davis Fire started the afternoon of Saturday, September 7. The incident was managed under the unified command of three fire agencies; Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, the U.S. Forest Service – Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, and the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada. Thanks to efforts from Reno Fire Department Chief Dave Cochran, US Forest Service District Ranger Matthew Zumstein, Bureau of Land Management National Conservation Area Manager Paul Fuselier, and Truckee Meadows Fire District Deputy Chief Chris Ketring, the damage was limited and there was no loss of life.
