Washoe County Sheriff RAVEN Helicopter Helps Recover Stolen Vehicle “On the afternoon of October 1, 2024, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a suspected stolen vehicle, last seen by the reporting party in the Panther Valley area. With the overwatch support of RAVEN, the vehicle was located in the hills near Panther Dr., and patrol units on the ground were able to find two suspects hiding in the nearby brush between two houses. Following a thorough investigation, deputies arrested 37-year-old Melissa Paul on charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, failure to register as a convicted person, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession with the intent to sell a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
