Bicyclist Hit Per WCSO: “Shortly after 11:00 am this morning first responders were called to an accident involving a single vehicle and a bicycle at the intersection of Lakeside and Lone Creek Lane. The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with law enforcement. The bicyclist was transported to Renown to be treated for his injuries, where he currently remains.   The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accidents Investigations Team was dispatched to the scene and the intersection remained closed for several hours. This is currently an open investigation and the identities of the driver and bicycle rider are not being released. Impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.”
