New Low Income Housing Complex Opens in Reno 🏠 Today was the ribbon cutting for the brand new Railyard Flats, a Reno Housing Authority project, located on 10th st in Sparks. This project was made available through collaboration and funds from The Washoe County HOME Consortium (which Reno contributes to), The State of Nevada’s Home Means Nevada Initiative, Nevada Housing Division, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These units are available for low to extremely low income households, all earning 60 percent or less than the area median income. Some rent could start as low as $600.
